Following is a tabulation of Past Grand Knights of Vicksburg Council 898. Six of the charter members have served as Grand Knights. Six Past Grand Knights have served as State Deputy. Others have served as Faithful Navigator of Vicksburg Assembly 558, as District Deputy, and as other State officers. One Past Grand Knight, Brother John G. Brunini, a charter member and father of Bishop Joseph P. Brunini, was a Knight of St. Gregory, a papal honor. Another brother, Alonzo A. O'Neill, PSD, holds the record for longest continuous service (seven years) as Grand Knight, 1930-1936. Still another, Bro. Zenon "Sonny" Sucharski, served a total of six years as Grand Knight but in three separate terms, 1980, 1982-1983, and 1989-1991, the only brother to serve three split terms.
